Text white, clean and unmarked. Prior owner attribution in pencil on title page. Green and white pastedown and front free endpapers decorated with drawings of nature. Profusely illustrated with 320 original color paintings of animals and plants (282 by Walter Ferguson and 38 by John Cody) and 34 pages of colored maps. Rear cover has light shelfwear. Exceptional condition considering its age and scarcity.
