[some external soiling, diagonal crease at bottom right corner of front cover, spine a little browned with minor tears at spine extremities (binding still solid), vintage bookseller's label (Larry Edmund's [sic] Book Shop, Hollywood) on rear pastedown; NOTE that numerous leaves in this copy are unopened at the top edges]. Volume II only (the first volume having been published in 1939), containing the texts of 17 lengthy letters exchanged between Miller and Fraenkel between July 1936 and October 1938. On the rear endpaper is stated: Printed in Mexico. NOTE that numerous leaves in this volume are unopened at the top edges. .
