The dustjacket is in very good condition. There is light fading down the spine with general light surface rubbing.
The covers are dark blue and are in very good condition, with the title on the front and spine in silver. There is one minor blemish on the front cover and there is light shelf wear.
The text is in pristine condition with no annotations.
There are many colour photographs throughout the book which are also in excellent condition.
The book is signed by the author on the half title page and dated December 1997.
There is a presentation inscription by the author to 'Dear Arnold and Jan' on the front free endpaper.
