Price-intact dustjacket has a little wear at corners. Charles Bell, writer, poet, and scholar, grew up in Greenville, Mississippi, with Walker Percy and Shelby Foote. His first novel, The Married Land, Houghton Mifflin, 1962, was praised by William Carlos Williams. His works include three volumes of poetry, two novels, and an audio-visual opus, "Symbolic History". VG+ in VG dust jacket.
