Pink led a faction in the murderous Horrell-Higgins feud of Lampasas County, Texas and he will be remembered as the cause of a generation of hard feeling there. His son, Cullen, became a lawyer and judge who became entangled in a series of bloody events involving a cattle baron and Texas Ranger Frank Hamer.
