This specific hardback book is in fine condition with very minimal wear and a hard board cover that has sharp edges and corners and a tight binding. There is some age associated yellowing or foxing to the front, rear and spine areas of the cover. The pages very slightly yellowed but are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased. There is no dust jacket. We package all books in custom cardboard book boxes for shipment and ship daily with tracking numbers.; This book is a numbered limited edition first edition of this book. The book is numbered 116 of only 525 books produced.The covers of this book are bound in a tightly woven, burlap type fabric. It has been said, "The Hadley Chest is the opening salvo of American Art." A type of chest, with its distinctive mannerist-inspired tulip-and-oak-leaf carved façade. Printed in the front of this book is a supplemental list of Hadley Chests. Discovered since publication of this book, together with changes in ownership as reported.; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 145 pages .
