First edition. British psychologist, best remembered for the experimental approach to animal psychology, now known as "Morgan's canon". (1852–1936). B/w frontispiece with tissue guard. Publishers original dark blue cloth boards with gilt titles to spine. Paper cracked after front free endpaper but binding firm. Spine ends and corners slightly fraying. Boards lightly marked. Photograph of nesting birds with separate caption tipped-in to front endpaper with further notes to verso. Rough cut edges. Content clean. Not ex-library. 351 pages plus publishers 31 page catalogue at back. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
