Book has a slight forward lean. Previous price tag to front cover. Gilt lettering remains bright and clear.

In near fine navy minus soft leather and with gilt titles to front (author's signature) and to spine with gilt ornate pattern. The boards are clean, firm and flat; strong spine and edges. Very lightly marked end papers. Bright, gilt top cut edge; the fore and tail edges are slightly tanned. The text block is tight, straight and clean, near fine condition. No dedications etc. With purple ribbon marker. Without jacket.
