A near fine book without inscriptions in very good+ (or better) unclipped wrapper with a little creasing to the front flap and some creasing to the foot of the spine. Becoming scarce. It is the 5th in Rendell's Inspector Wexford series. She was an acclaimed English crime writer, known for her many psychological thrillers and murder mysteries. In 2013, Rendell was awarded the Crime Writers' Association Cartier Diamond Dagger for sustained excellence in crime writing and in 1996 she was awarded the CBE, becoming a Life Peer in 1997.
