A. and C. Black, 1949. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1949. First Published. 467 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Heavy paint stain to rear board.Book has a slight forward lean.
