A landmark work by Hilbersheimer, a German Bauhaus architect famed for his work in urban planning. Forced to emigrate to the United States, he later became head of urban planning at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, where he worked on several projects with Mies van der Rohe. Wear to wrappers and spine. PROVENANCE: Stamo Papadaki, with his stamp on the front free endpaper.
