Well illustrated in black and white photographs of vessels, shipyard activities, launches and documents. Of particular interest are two chapters about Navy construction at Camden Shipbuilding and Marine Railway Co. in World War II. The author worked in the company's bookkeeping office during the war years, which gave her a unique perspective. Dyer has written 7 books on Camden History. Green cloth with gilt titles. Pictorial endpapers consist of D.S. Osborn map of Camden in 1856 at front and Roe & Colby 1875 map at back. Crisp dustjacket with price intact, 1/8" void on spine edge and minor soil on edges. NF/VG
