THE GRIM CANYON. ERNEST HAYCOX. Popular Library, New York, 1953. First Edition. Popular Library # 537 with the original 25 cents on cover and original green endpapers. Condition: Near Fine / Very Good. With the usual micro chips and light creases typical of pulp fiction books of this age, a mild unglue at hinge on ffep, otherwise barely read, pages are all intact, unmarked, with no tears, clean, bright and binding tight. Colors on front cover art and spine are punchy and type on cover and spine is sharp with almost no rubbing, remarkable condition after 65 + years. There are three short novels; "The Grim Canyon", "Blizzard Camp" and "Discovery Gulch". The "Grim Canyon" first appeared in Short Stories July 1928, "Blizzard Camp" and "Discovery Gulch" appears in May 1932 and March 1929 of the same pulp magazine. Classic western pulp and highly collectible. 16mo. 160pgs.
