Good+ condition Thomas Mitchell Peirce illus Bobbs-Merrill Indianapolis (1903) early printing hardcover 8vo, 463 pages + catalog, color frontis and b+w plates by Peirce, decorated binding. One interior plate with closed tear mid bottom. Owner's name stamped inside front cover. Light extremity wear and rubbing. Front endpaper with Christmas 1903 date, newspaper photo of author, and Dennison's Christmas tag attached. Overall a solid respectable copy with gilt titling and silver, gilt, black and salmon decoration on front cover.
