New York City: Henry Harrison, 1926. Hardcover. Very Good+/Good. Beteri C. Fouts. Drab olive cloth stamped in black. Previous owner's name on front pastedown. Uneven toning (where newspaper had been laid in) on front endpapers, title page, and one other set of facing pages, else clean. Dust jacket toned and chipped; in an archival mylar sleeve. pp. 64. Scarce in dust jacket. Poems of Greenwich Village's bohemian life. The author, at the time, was living in the village in an apartment on Minetta Street and wrote from personal familiarity with the scene. Clement Wood (1888-1950) was an American writer, poet, lawyer and activist. He was a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and earned his law degree at Yale. In 1913, he was the Socialist Party of America's candidate for the mayor of Birmingham, Alabama.
