This book names orphans who were placed in homes by the Court of Common Pleas, giving their Natural and adopted names, and in most cases the natural parents. The Tax List gives names of landowners, location, number of acres, black polls, white polls, public stores, and stud horses. This is a very entertaining book and gives much information on the persons listed.
