No edition stated. Good condition in a Good book club edition dustjacket. Blue cloth with decorative gilt title on spine. Book is in standard used condition, binding loose but all pages firmly attached. Corners are bumped, previous owner name on front paste down dated February, 1945. The age-darkened text is clean and unmarked. The dustjacket shows wear and has tears at spine ends. Protected in mylar cover. Basis for the 1947 American historical drama disaster film starring Lana Turner, Van Heflin, and Donna Reed. Carefully packaged and shipped in a box.
