X, 428 pages, last 3 blank, list of plates in alphabetical order, introduction by editor and acknowledgements. Light grey colour endpapers. The text is illustrated with 55 black-and-white photographs of various stage actors. Black coloured boards with white writing on the spine and a small white illustration as well. Bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and shelfwear to the lower edges. Dust marks to the top paper edge and there are a few marks to the book panels. Numerous gift inscriptions to the free front and paper. Plain text dust wrapper with small silver illustrations to the top left-hand corner of the front panel, spine and lower edge of the back panel. Silver and white writing to the front panel and to the spine. Rubbing and chipping to the dust wrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. There is a small tear to the top left-hand corner of the front panel. Slight rubbing to the dust wrapper panels. An alphabetical listing of stage actors and actresses.
