NY: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1959. First edition. Hardcover. VG++ in VG dust jacket. Red cloth hardcover with only light shelf wear, very clean and tightly bound; some discoloration to paste-down pages from age/adhesive, not severe, otherwise bright clean and unmarked pages. Dust jacket shows some light surface and edge wear, with some soiling to rear cover, spine is not sunned, not price-clipped and now protected in a clear archival sleeve. Novel based on the assassination of Leon Trotsky. In his youth, Wolfe was Trotsky's secretary.
