Odhams Press, 1935. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1935. No edition remarks. 763 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt blind stamped decoration. Contains in-text monochromatic illustrations throughout. Illustrated black and white frontispiece. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting causing the binding to be shaky. Binding has come away from spine strip, text-block held on by end-papers. Rear end-paper coming away from board. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Small split to cloth at head of spine. Moderate tanning to spine. White stains to boards.
