About This Item

In the suburbs of Dallas, Texas, Highland Park and University Park started out way out yonder. Now they are in the middle of the city and they are 2 of the wealthier cities in America. Southern Methodist University located there and that helped. Beautiful stately homes, some of which were built beginning in 1910. History of the area with lots of beautiful photographs. Big, heavy and well bound book; 480 pages on heavy stock. First Edition, so stated. The book is in fine, like new condition.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
