Hardcover bound in grey cloth; lacks the dust jacket. The binding is quite worn, and the spine is browned. The front cover shows damping and foxing. Endpapers a little toned, but there appears no damping inside the covers or text. First Edition, with the "R" logo on the copyright page. INSCRIBED by the author on the front flyleaf, "To Merle Brown, with warm regards. / Burke Davis / 7 May, 1956.
