FIRST EDITION, FIRST Impression with the correct Printer's Key - 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2. FINE, crisp, sharp-cornered black boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. In the original publisher's AS New pictorial dustjacket - in a fine protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover. The dustjacket is not price clipped. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR to the foot of the title page. (There is also a loose corner wrapper stating 'Signed First Edition' from Goldsboro Books) . Despite having been wrapped up since purchase, though the page fore-edges very clean, the top edge is beginning to brown lightly due to the acid toning (VERY light tanning here) with this type of paper over time, and the bottom edge a little more so. Apart from this the book is As NEW with NO other Inscriptions or Marks. "Something savage happened in the Guatemalan highlands two decades ago and something savage is happening today.
