About This Item
Portsmouth, VA: John H. Monk, 1956. Magazine. Two issues of the staplebound mimeographed publication, 8.5x11 inches, 38 and 28 pages respectively; vol. 4 nos. 41 and 45 (March and July 1956). "Anti-Semitic" penciled in corner of front cover, otherwise very good condition aside from minor toning. Anti-Semitic, anti-union, racist and anti-communist articles that endeavor to combine all of these threads into one overarching tapestry. The July issue (pp. 18-19) includes a baffling interpretation of Genghis Khan as implicated in the Jewish conspiracy to destroy Western civilization. A significant portion of the content consists of quotations from publications around the country, with Monk's reactions to them.
