Reviews
On Apr 23 2014, a reader said:
The book was a compilation of letters and photographs by Agatha Christie when she and her husband were selected to be part of the world wide promotion of the 1924 British Empire Exhibit. The tour was done in 1922 and provided wonderful historical information as well as insight to the cultures of the world. It was interesting to see how much has changed in the various countries which were visited. Since these were letters to her mother, the book should not be expected to read as if it were a historical document or travel guide. It is warm with very personal descriptions that were shared with a dearly loved member of the family. It is a quick and fun read.
