Third book in the beloved series featuring this "splendid, fun-loving & kindhearted girl from Oakwood" as she & her chums make their way through high school adventures. No date, but research places it at 1911; publisher is Goldsmith, so not the very first Altemus editions, but same vintage. In 208 pages, with its original DJ! With soft red cloth-covered boards embossed with a black design & lettering, this book is in VG condition: very clean, with very mild rubbing to extremities, pages tanned commensurate with age, but unmarked. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Light dampstain to lower spine, does not impact interior. Slight corner bumping & pushing to both ends of spine. the unclipped DJ is also VG, colorful & bright, but with chipping/splitting at lower spine & light soil/rubbing to extremities; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free!Our photos depict the EXACT book you will receive from us--never "stock" images of books we don't actually have!
