Volume contains many woodcut illustrations, woodcuts from the drawing of Eugen Neureuther (mit Holzschnitten nach Zeichnungen von Eugen Neureuther), including six full page engravings (including decorated title), very many vignette engravings, and every page of text has a decorated border. Modern (library?) rebind with brown covers and gilt lettering on spine. Corners and spine ends are slightly worn and bumped. New and clean end-papers. 251 pages. Decorated title page has taped tear and some ink numbers on reverse. Pages are otherwise clean, bright and crisp, only very occasional light foxing. Illustrations are sharp and clear.
