Original embossed cloth with later blue cloth spine, folding colored frontispiece facsimile of the Gothic codex, xxxvi, 584 pp. Very Good Minus, corners rubbed down to paper, newer hinge tape mends but still a bit loose at hinges, book plate front paste down, prior owner gift inscription front brown end page, Preface with several pages of tidy scholarly marginal notations in pencil, the text unmarked. . First Edition. Cloth. Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
