About This Item
Charles Scribner's Sons, 1950. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Good dust jacket. Pages clean except for a prior owner's name on the front endpaper and modest age-toning in the margins throughout; the full red cloth cover shows some softening and light wear at spine ends and bottom free corners, otherwise excellent. The dust jacket has several closed edge tears, a coffee stain at the upper rear, toning visible in the light-colored portions, and light gray handling smudges on the front, but is overall attractive and sound, now protected in a clear sleeve. xx, 600pp. incl. indices.
