Blakiston Company, Philadelphia, 1944. First edition hardcover in good condition with no dust cover. The book is red faux leather with the title and a symbol embossed on the front cover and the title, author and publisher embossed on the spine in gold that has faded. The pages are lightly foxed but there are no tears or folds. There is some writing in the book that does not affect the readability and there is a stamp from the bookstore and the names of the previous owners on the first endpaper.
