John Murray, 1933. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1933. Cheap Edition Reprint. 332 pages. No dust jacket. Blue embossed cloth with darkened lettering to spine. Pages are moderately tanned with notable foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks and water drops along text block edge. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding is slightly loose. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning, sunning and foxing to spine, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean. Water drops on front board.
