Some offsetting to endpapers and light rubbing to extremities, clean and sharp otherwise with tight binding. Gift inscription 'Compliments of the Aristotelian Society, Gerard Smith SJ.' Gerard Smith was the director of the Aristotelian Society which sponsored the long and still running Aquinas Lecture series. Elizabeth Salmon was the first woman to give the Aquinas Lecture.
