Octavo 16.5x13 cm., within original wrappers with unattributed, striking photomontage; 48 pages. Illustrated with movie stills. The second book written by Ayn Rand (1905-1982), the later adopted name of Alisa Rozenbaum, and published after she left St. Petersburg for America, Hollywood is also the second of the only two works in her native language (Russian). This volume examines the origins of the Hollywood studios, their rivalries, and prominent producers, directors, and stars. Some wear to the wrappers, otherwise in very good condition. Six copies found in North American libraries
