Charles Scribner's Sons. NY., 1898 Book size about 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches with some 287 pages. Bound in light olive green cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. Originally published in England this is the First American Edition apparently made up from the English pages with the Scribner's title page replacing the English publisher. The Donovan Murdoch bibliography lists this book as No. 2920 of the Gutta Percha Era 1851-1900. Book with wear through at the top right front cover; original price inside front cover in pencil; two previous owner names at front in pencil; bit of wear to spine top/bottom; light overall covers soil. Overall a solid tight book with undamaged hinges--a quite nice copy. VERY GOOD Language: eng Language: eng Language: eng. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
