One leaf has 4" closed tear from bottom edge, occasional small spottings, pages are otherwise very good. Decorative printed endpapers fine. Bound in decorative hardcover of mustard yellow cloth with spine titled in black, front cover with title and full decorative design in black. Cover lightly soiled, edges and spine ends rubbed, boards showing at corner tips. Binding and hinges firm and straight. A view of Florentine artisans of the middle ages, including weavers, wood-carvers, sculptors, architects, armorers, metalsmiths and more. Generously illustrated with black & white photos and with striking woodcut illustrations by the renowned engraver, Kalman Kubinyi. 9 x 12". xviii + 209 pages.. Reprint. Hard Cover. Spine sunned, boards moderately soiled, head/tail of spine and corners scuffed, bookmark of Francis J.
