The book is tight and square with solid hinges, good corners and clean unmarred boards. Mild fading to top spine and board edges. Textblock has faint erased pencil ghosting to first free endpaper and pages lightly tanned. Otherwise clean with no writing, bookplate or marks and not BCE, ex-library or remaindered. Dust jacket is not price-clipped (£8.95) and Fine. Protected in a Brodart cover. This is the prolific UK author'sfirst adult novel which propelled her to prominence in Science Fiction & Fantasy. Golden Witchbreed is the first book in the Orthe duology followed by Ancient Light in 1987.
