Beige cloth hardcover with extensive gold impressing. All edges gilt. Softened spine ends, mild soiling to cloth. Some soiling to first pages. Worn spot across from half title. Label residue on title page. Slight tears in pages 50 to 110 approximately.
The author discusses Ceylon's capital, Colombo, as well as geography, sports, etc. but his main theme is the professional skill involved in growing tea in the incomparable beauty of the island's south.
