Very Good/No jacket. jBoston:Ticknor, Reed, and Fields. 1851. 1st edition,1st printing. 4pp ads+301pp. Hardcover.  Brown boards lightly soiled and shelfworn with both ends of spine strip worn and chipped. Internally endpages just lightly agetoned but free of previous owners marks or signatures. The ads, dated January, 1852 preceed the yellow end-page at beginning of book. A previous owners name is stamped to top of the title page with some offset to opposite page, otherwise pages clean. The binding is tight and hinges intact. A very good copy. Bal:12102.
