About This Item

NY: Heritge Press. VG in Fair DJ & slipcase. Pushkin was one of the first to lay the foundations of modern Russian literature & to gather togeher some of the best stories . and popular songs from the immense treasure of Russian folklore. Pushkin was born at Moscow on June 7, 1799, and came from an ancient family of Boyars. His Ode to Liberty was inspired by the enthusiasm for liberal ideas that later got him into trouble on more than one occasion. The "Tale of the Golden Cockerel" was written as a short poem in 1814 and appears to be a genuine skazka. Binding royal blue with golden cockerel designs. Glasine DJ has tears, slipcase has heavy edge wear. .
