London: Macmillan, 1925. Abridged edition. Leather bound. Good +. Octavo. Fine binding. [2], xiv, 756 pages, [2]. Green morocco leather binding. Gilt ruled boards with gilt title on the front cover. Raised bands, gilt decorations, and title labels on the spine. Marbled end papers. All edges gilt. Gilt decorated dentelle borders on the inner paste downs. Leather is dry at the top of the spine. Rubs to outer joints and back cover. London book binders printed tiny stamp located at the top edge of the verso of the right front flyleaf (the stamp is very difficult to read even under magnification). Interior contents in very good condition.
