Macmillan, 1890. 1st edn. 8vo (9 x 6 ins). 2 vols. Rebound in recent half calf on marbled paper-laid boards, spines gilt tooled in six compartments with contrasting gilt lettered labels and new endpapers, with original cloth covers bound-in at rear of each volume (a hint of fading on spines and top edges lightly spotted - otherwise a near Fine set). Pp. xii + 409 + [1] blank + [2] catalogue [&] [vi] + 407, with half titles, illus with b&w frontispiece in vol I (small closed tear at top edge of title page of vol II; Edinburgh Subscription Library blind-stamps on title pages).
