Biege cloth covered hardcover boards with red lettering on spine and front cover. Hardcover in fine condition, binding tight, text very clean. Hardcover has former owner's name on front endpaper. No sunfading, no corner bumping.
DJ has numerous scotch tape shadows, minor edgewear, and open tear to bottom of spine. Age-toned.
Signed by author and editior on page opposite title page.
Herman Oliver, the author, was one of the best known cattlemen in the state of Oregon. Professors came from great universities, and cowboys from lonely corrals, to study the fampus Oliver methods of selective breeding, proper feeding, and pasturing- infallible keys to the unique process of Herman Oliver, of the John Day country in north-central Oregon.
