His career spanned the entire course of WWII in the Pacific. In those initial six months of battle in the Pacific he either led or directed a number of sir strikes. After recovering from wounds at Midway, he participated in succeeding campaigns as a staff officer and finally was present on the deck of the USS Missouri for the Japanese surrender. Based entirely on post-war interviews with the author during and after the time he converted his faith to Christianity. A clean pristine edition.
