New York: the Dial Press, 1967. Not stated. Hardcover. Good/good. 468 pages. A beautiful young man in Ancient Greece struggles against slavery to succeed, only to see those that he loves suffer and die. Black binding with white titles and borders on spine. Handsome volume, light edge wear with corners and spine ends a bit bumped, titles bright, a little spotting of cover, interior pages bright with some light staining of edges, small smudge on front free end paper, binding tight. Illustrated jacket with gold and white titles shows some edge wear, particularly at folds, chip and creases in top of front cover and closed tear in back cover, back cover a bit stained.

Measures 5 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches.
