Some speckling/spotting to top page ends and one to front page ends. Previous owner's name to ffep. Jacket is price-clipped with chipping at and around corners and spine ends and long skinny strip to top of front panel. Rubbing at edges and some scuffing. Modern Library #175. TIny puncture at spine. 374 books listed on inside jacket. Cover design possibly by E. McKnight Kauffer as very similar to his design for Light in August.
Synopsis
Go Down, Moses is a collection of Faulkner's stories that once strung together, tell the composite history of the McCaslin family, specifically of the white and black descendants of Lucius Quintus Carothers McCaslin and the residents of the plantation he founded.
