NY: Harper & Brothers. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. Stated first edition hardcover. Tape marks to endpages. Tight and square. The DJ in mylar has several short edge tears, light rubbing, tape marks to flaps and a bit of tape to interior top of spine. Taped to front panel of DJ is a small card which states "Kurt Frings Agency (Beverly Hills. ) " Laid in the book is a short TLS, on Kurt Frings letterhead, presenting this book to noted screenwriter/director Delmer Daves; it is addressed to Daves at Columbia Pictures in Hollywood, and signed by Larry Turman. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
