A smart first edition of this illustrated autobiography from American professional boxer, Henry Armstrong. First edition. Illustrated with eight plates. Collated complete. The life of American professional boxer Henry Jackson Jr., who fought under the name Henry Armstrong, and a record of his climb to fame as world boxing champion. With details of the spiritual experience which led him from the ring to the pulpit in later life. In the original full black cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original price-clipped dust wrapper is smart with light shelf wear and chipping resulting in minor loss to the front panel. The odd small closed tear and light discolouration to the rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Fine
