The paperback edition can be readily found, but if you're giving this book as a gift, you'll want a nice hardcover, correct? I thought so.) [Please NOTE that the book states "First printing, 1998," but also bears a number line in which the lowest number is 2; the number line is perfectly centered, however, which leads me to believe that this is in fact a first printing of the first edition.] .
