Bound in publisher's royal blue cloth w/beveled edges, ornamental gilt lettering to front board and spine, color reprod of the Legion's membership medal to front board. Plain dark brown endpapers. [1-9], 10-588, [589-592]. Preface, contents; 31 papers or addresses. B&w map. Condition notes: solid final volume of first-hand accounts of the American Civil War. Handsome, vibrant binding shows darkening to spine and moderately worn. Spine ends rolled, corners bumped. Moderate toning and soiling to edges. Binding solid, sound, square. An occasional pencil mark to interior, with a single stamp noted to preface page ("20 April 1932. Torrance family. g." (Ell Torrance is listed on the title page as part of the Commandery's publishing committee); else unmarked, tanned.
