A scarce and early Rockies Glaciology pamphlet, this copy being the 1921 2nd edition, with notes on five great glaciers of the Canadian National Parks by A.O. Wheeler. Stapled wraps, 8vo size (9 inches tall), pp. 36, photo frontis, illustrated throughout w. B&W photo reproductions. Covers worn and soiled w. closed tears to spine fold ends, text clean and unmarked. The first edition was issued in 1914 and is published here "by Direction of Honourable W.J. Roche, Minister of The Interior, Canada" from the front cover. Ref. Neate C91. "Canadian geologist, professor, minerals prospector, artist, Rockies explorer, backwoods canoeist, world traveller, scientist, popular lecturer, museum administrator, memoirist. Coleman was one of Canada's most beloved scientists." from the A.P. Coleman online exhibit at U of Toronto.
